Back in Nov 2007 when the Nationals made an off-season trade with the Mets - Brian Schneider AND Ryan Church for Lastings Milledge (of the 3 Milledge is the only one still playing baseball and he is in JAPAN the other two have retired) anyway Schneider was ON VACATION when he got the call he was traded. Now granted it was an off season trade but still I agree these things should be done in person.
