To upset for more words, or maybe a few. I really liked Prado as a Brave, he was a great player that would play any position and also seemed like a great guy off the field. He was just so.. happy when I would see him.
It was bad enough when he was a Dimaondback, but at least then I could see him play a few times a year. Heck, I even went to a Arizona vs Braves game last year. Now as ... that I will likely never see him except maybe once a year in inter league play and that is IF he even plays. First B-Mac and now Prado.
It was also pretty terrible how he got the news. He was in the car on his way to the ball park. You would think they would do that kind of thing in person.
yeah the MLB isn't real polite when they trade guys. Back in Nov 2007 when the Nationals made an off-season trade with the Mets - Brian Schneider AND Ryan Church for Lastings Milledge (of the 3 Milledge is the only one still playing baseball and he is in JAPAN the other two have retired) anyway Schneider was ON VACATION when he got the call he was traded. Now granted it was an off season trade but still I agree these things should be done in person. It would be like your boss firing you by text message (or fax like in "Back to The Future II").
